Chelsea Morning Farm

This summer we bought a CSA share from Chelsea Morning Farms near Two Harbors, MN. (CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture.) Once a week, beautiful farm fresh produce is delivered to a central location in Ely, and I pick it up on my lunch break.

During the first few weeks of the summer, there was an awful lot of lettuce in the delivery, but now there is plenty of variety. It's a good thing we split a share with Cory and Heather, because there are a lot of vegetables to eat!

Here's what was in our basket this week:
- 3 kinds of cucumbers
- 2 kinds of beets
- 4 kinds of peppers
- potatoes
- a variety of summer squash
- lettuce
- mixed heirloom tomatoes
- kolrabi
- 4 kinds of beans
- onions
- a mix of wild and domestic perennial flowers

Fantastic! Fresh, local and sustainable. I love it.
