Gifts that Give

Okay, so you already know that I'll be at the NLAA sale on December 4th. But what I haven't told you about is the Gifts that Give fair, also being held in Ely that Saturday.

Gifts that Give is held every year in the basement of the Presbyterian Church on Harvey St., just a block or so from the Community Center where the NLAA fair is held.

While the NLAA fair features work of local artisans - like me - the Gifts that Give fair focuses on gifts that benefit others. Some organizations involved include Heifer International and SERRV.

I won't be able to attend the Gifts that Give fair since I'll be down the street at the NLAA sale, but I am still very excited about it. That's because for the second year in a row I have done all of the buying for the SERRV portion of the sale, so I know that the selection is going to be amazing! Textiles, toys, chocolate, books, calendars - you name it.

There were so many great possibilities to choose from that I really had a hard time not going overboard with the order.

If you are going to be in Ely on Saturday, December 4th, you'll be able to find everything you need between these two sales! The NLAA fair hours are 10-4, Gifts that Give runs 10-2.
