Isabelle

Today we had a visit from our friend Kelly and her daughter Isabelle. Isabelle was born last October and, because we were visiting Minnesota at the time, I was at her birth. It was my first run at being a doula, and the experience more than confirmed my desire to support women during childbirth.

It was thrilling to hold her again today. I am so glad that now I will be able to watch her grow up and that she and Jack will get to know each other. She is a beautiful baby.
