We've been back in Ely two weeks now, and tonight was only the second time we've had to make our own dinner. Every other night, friends have either brought us food or had us over to their place. Pretty nice.
We've put out that word that we are looking for a place to buy in the country, most likely land that we will build on. We have three different leads (through friends, not realtors) on places north of town, near where we used to live. One possibility is even on the road where we used to live, which would be a dream come true.
Tomorrow night we will dog-sit for a friend/former neighbor out that way. It will be great to get out of town and spend the night in the woods. If we are really lucky it will be a clear night and we will see the lunar eclipse.
