Ear infections and work prospects

Jack has had a cold for a while, but he developed a bad cough a couple of days ago. We took him to the clinic today and they said the cough was not serious but that he has an ear infection. Poor little guy. His nose is also producing an incredible amount of green stuff. As if that weren't enough, he seems to have four teeth coming in at once and he is drooling so much that his shirt is always wet. Amazingly, he still seems happy and energetic (except at bedtime).

On the positive side of things, Scott is lined up to patrol for the forest service this Friday and Saturday. It is just volunteer work at this point, but it might help when they review job applications for this summer. At the very least he'll get to have some fun. (He's applied for 6 forest service jobs and has talked to two outfitters so far.)
