Scenes from a Knitting Retreat, Part 2

Well, good morning!  If you missed Scenes from a Knitting Retreat, Part 1, this would be a great time to catch up.  Just click here.

It looks like we're the first ones here . . . no rush, let's just enjoy some quiet knitting time in the Morning Glory Center.

And the frosty morning view of Burntside Lake out the window.

Take a look at that "Hemlock"the group steamed together last night:

That's some serious blocking!

Now let's go take a spin around the shop.

For each retreat, Susan and Anna bring most of the yarn from the shop out to the woods.  It's truly an amazing feat.

There are always lots of samples to inspire you

And a special retreat project.  This year we learned to "pick" and "throw" at the same time, using both ends of a ball of Liberty Wool.

Have you mastered that?  Not quite?  Okay, why don't we spend a little time practicing, and when we come back, it's time for a little show and tell!
